V-Fold Facial Tissue Machine Installed in Morocco in 2021
In 2021, a tissue converter in Morocco installed a V-fold facial tissue machine to add boxed and soft-pack facial tissues to its product range. The equipment was added to an existing workshop and configured around the customer's paper grade, finished sheet size, and packing process.
Customer Requirement
The customer needed stable V-fold formation, accurate sheet counting, and consistent tissue stacks for downstream cutting and packing. The factory layout also required the finished tissue to discharge from the side of the machine.

Equipment Solution
The DB-F-V-200 V-fold tissue interfolder was selected for the project. Its independent unwinding units helped control paper tension, while the PLC control, automatic counting, and paper-break protection simplified daily operation.
During commissioning, the tension, traction roller gap, and folding settings were adjusted using the customer's actual tissue paper. This step matters because V-fold quality depends on how the specific parent roll and ply respond to tension and folding, not on a single fixed setting.
Project Result
After adjustment, the machine produced more uniform V-fold tissue stacks with fewer wrinkles and misplaced sheets. The side-discharge arrangement connected smoothly with the customer's existing cutting area, creating a clearer production flow and reducing manual tissue handling.
For a similar project, confirm the parent-roll specification, finished sheet size, tissue ply, target output, discharge direction, and downstream packing method before selecting the final configuration. These inputs determine the folding setup, tension control, and how the machine fits into an existing workshop.
Buyer Questions Before Selecting a V-Fold Machine
Can the machine match an existing factory layout? Discharge direction and machine placement are part of the configuration discussion, as shown in this side-discharge project.
What should be prepared before a quotation? Parent-roll specification, finished sheet size, tissue ply, target output, and downstream packing method give the clearest basis for a final configuration.
Planning a V-fold facial tissue project? Share your parent-roll specification, finished sheet size, tissue ply, target output, available floor space, discharge direction, and downstream packing method so the machine configuration can be matched to your factory.
