Tissue Log Saw Machine

A tissue log saw cuts a folded tissue log into the lengths needed for individual packs. It acts after interfolding and log transfer, so its cutting object differs from the sheet being formed inside a folding machine. Folded logs and pack dimensions

The DB-L-320C product page describes servo feeding, electronic cam control, automatic knife sharpening, and head and tail trimming with waste recovery. Its cut size can be configured for the required product. Confirm the proposed log dimensions, finished cutting length and reference faces with the supplier; the word “length” alone does not identify a measurement on a folded stack.

Connecting the cutting stage

In the automatic soft-pack facial tissue production line, separation and transfer lead into log cutting, followed by soft-pack wrapping. Ask the equipment proposal to identify the transfer arrangement and the receiving machine at each side of the saw. Published machine ratings describe catalogue scope; output for a particular paper, folded log and package requires a stated operating basis.
