Automatic Box Facial Tissue Packing Machine Installed in Turkey in 2023

In 2023, a tissue products manufacturer in Turkey added an automatic box packing machine to improve the packaging stage of its facial tissue production. The customer supplied boxed facial tissues to supermarkets, hotels, offices, and private-label distributors.

Project Requirement

The factory already produced cut and counted facial tissue stacks, but loading the tissues into cartons required considerable manual work. Differences in carton opening and tissue position also affected the appearance of the finished boxes.

The customer needed equipment that could automatically open the carton, load the facial tissue stack, seal the box, and discharge the finished product. The machine also had to support several box sizes used for different retail orders.

Equipment Solution

The DB-BF-100B automatic facial tissue box packing machine was selected for the project. It handles tissue feeding, carton opening, product loading, hot-melt glue sealing, and finished-box discharge in one process.

The machine supports box sizes from 100–240 mm in length, 100–120 mm in width, and 30–90 mm in height. Its published packing speed is 30–100 boxes per minute, while the actual speed depends on the carton quality, tissue-stack size, box format, and upstream feeding conditions. During commissioning, the carton magazine, tissue guides, loading position, glue temperature, and box-closing timing were adjusted using the customer's actual tissue stacks and printed cartons.

Project Result

The new machine created a more continuous route from cut facial tissue stacks to finished retail boxes. Automatic carton opening and tissue loading reduced repeated manual handling, while controlled sealing improved the consistency of the finished packages.

The customer could also change between approved box formats by adjusting selected machine parts and production settings. Recording the settings for each carton made repeat orders easier to prepare.
