Customer Challenge

In 2019, a German tissue manufacturer wanted to expand its pocket tissue product range for retail and convenience channels.

The customer needed to produce different pocket tissue formats, including mini and standard packs, while maintaining stable output and consistent pack dimensions. Limited factory space was also an important consideration when planning the new production line.

Our Solution

We supplied a full-servo single-channel pocket tissue production line configured around the customer's product specifications.

The line was designed to handle different folded tissue sizes and sheet counts, giving the customer flexibility to produce multiple pocket tissue formats on one production platform.

Full-servo control was adopted for the main production processes, providing accurate synchronization during folding, cutting, pushing, and packaging. The PLC touchscreen interface also allowed operators to adjust production parameters more conveniently when changing between product specifications.

The compact single-channel layout helped the customer make better use of its available factory space.

After installation and commissioning, the customer successfully introduced the new pocket tissue production process.
