Box Facial Tissue Production Line for a Mexican Tissue Converter

In 2016, we supplied a box facial tissue production line to a tissue products manufacturer in Mexico. This project marked the beginning of a long-term cooperation that continued from 2016 to 2019.

The box facial tissue production line was supplied for the customer’s boxed facial tissue production project. It added a dedicated production capability beyond the customer’s existing tissue product range and supported its development in the local facial tissue market.

The customer later continued to work with us and purchased eight napkin paper machines during the 2016–2019 cooperation period. The subsequent orders expanded the cooperation from box facial tissue production to napkin paper converting.

Project Background and Requirement

The customer, an established tissue products manufacturer in Mexico, needed a dedicated line to produce boxed facial tissue. The goal was to add a new product category to its existing range and strengthen its position in the local market. Key requirements included reliable converting performance, stable output for the finished box format, and equipment that could integrate into the existing factory layout.

Solution and Equipment Match

We proposed a box facial tissue production line configured around the customer’s finished tissue format and target output. The line was selected to match the parent-roll condition and the available floor space, with a focus on stable folding, cutting, and packing performance. The configuration also considered operator access and routine maintenance needs, helping the customer plan staffing and service schedules.

Delivery, Commissioning, and Cooperation

The line was delivered and commissioned in 2016. During commissioning, the equipment was checked against the agreed product size and output requirements. The customer’s production team was guided through operation and changeover procedures. The successful start-up supported the customer’s entry into boxed facial tissue production and led to further cooperation.

Between 2016 and 2019, the customer placed additional orders for eight napkin paper machines. These orders extended the cooperation from box facial tissue converting to napkin paper production, confirming the customer’s confidence in the equipment and service support.
