For hand towels, test whether individual sheets dispense correctly from a suitable dispenser. For napkins, confirm that the folded size and edge alignment match the intended package.

The quality of a folded product should be evaluated under the paper conditions planned for actual production.

Compare Discharge and Packing Arrangements

Some machines discharge finished products for manual collection, while others connect with counting, stacking, transfer or automatic packing systems.

The correct choice depends on output, labor conditions and package type. A highly automated discharge system may reduce manual handling, but it also requires additional space, controls and maintenance capability.

Ask the supplier to explain the complete path from parent roll to packed product.

Consider Cleaning and Format Adjustment

Tissue dust naturally accumulates around cutting and folding components. Check whether operators can safely access these areas for cleaning.

Also ask which adjustments are needed when changing the finished size, sheet count or paper grade. Clear scales, accessible controls and recorded settings can make routine production changes easier.

Select According to the Product Category

A buyer focused on restaurants, catering or consumer napkins may prioritize embossing, printing and flexible folded sizes. A supplier serving offices, hotels and commercial washrooms may prioritize dispenser compatibility and stable hand-towel stacking.
