Core and Coreless Kitchen Towel Roll Production with DB-R300
Kitchen towel rolls can be manufactured with a conventional paperboard core or as a coreless product. The choice depends on the target market, holder arrangement, packaging format, and production specification. These two formats should be evaluated separately because they differ in center structure, handling, and end-use compatibility.
Cored Kitchen Towel Rolls
Cored rolls contain a paperboard tube at the center. They are compatible with conventional holders that use a spindle passing through the core. The DB-R300 formally supports finished-roll core diameters from Φ38 to Φ55 mm for cored production.
Coreless Kitchen Towel Rolls
Coreless rolls are wound without a conventional paperboard tube. They should not be used on a normal center-spindle holder unless the finished product and holder have been specifically designed for that arrangement. Product stability, center formation, dispensing method, and packaging should be confirmed before production.
Application Scenarios
Cored rolls are suitable for ordinary countertop or wall-mounted spindle holders. Coreless rolls may be considered for products intended to reduce paperboard-core use or support a different storage and dispensing format. The final application should be verified against the actual roll and holder design.
Solution: DB-R300 Core and Coreless Production
The DOUBLE DB-R300 supports core and coreless production changeover. Its confirmed stable production speed is 300 m/min for the standard configuration, while confirmed coreless production speed is 250 m/min. The machine supports a working width of 2000–3650 mm and a log diameter of Φ80–Φ150 mm. Final product specifications remain project-dependent.
Production Flow
Confirm Roll Specification → Configure Unwinding and Web → DB-R300 Perforation → Non-Stop Rewinding with Selected Core or Coreless Setting → Downstream Log-Saw Cutting → Packaging Validation
