Automatic Folded Hand Towel Production Line for an Egyptian Hygiene Paper Converter
In 2025, a hygiene paper converter in Egypt added an automatic folded hand towel production line for commercial washroom and hospitality products. The project was developed to connect towel folding, stack handling, conveying, and downstream packing preparation in one coordinated production flow.
Project Requirement
The customer wanted to increase folded hand towel capacity while reducing the manual movement of towel stacks between separate machines. The line also needed to handle the selected parent-roll specification and deliver uniform stacks suitable for the customer's planned pack format.
Line Configuration and Testing
The production line was built around the DB-N-225 hand towel folding section and matched stack-transfer equipment. The configuration was confirmed against the required towel width, folded size, paper grade, stack quantity, and available workshop layout.
During the factory test, the team checked paper feeding, fold alignment, stack formation, conveyor timing, sensor position, and the handoff between adjacent sections. The transfer guides were adjusted so the folded towel stacks could move through the line without unnecessary turning or repeated manual correction.
Result
The completed setup created a clearer production route from folding to orderly towel-stack output. Finished stacks remained aligned during transfer and arrived at the downstream handling section in a more consistent position.
The connected layout also reduced intermediate handling and gave operators better access for inspection, cleaning, and routine adjustment along the production line.
For a similar hand towel production line, provide the finished towel format, unfolded and folded dimensions, ply, paper grade, parent-roll specification, sheets per stack, pack size, target output, voltage, compressed-air conditions, and available floor space so the folding, transfer, and packing sections can be matched to your factory layout.
