Printed Pocket Tissue Production for a Nigerian Consumer Paper Supplier
In 2024, a consumer paper supplier in Nigeria added a dual-channel pocket tissue production line to manufacture branded retail packs locally. The project covered tissue converting, primary wrapping, finished-pack conveying, and collection before carton packing.
Project Requirement
The customer wanted a stable production route for printed pocket tissue packs supplied to supermarkets, convenience stores, and regional distributors. In addition to folding quality, the customer paid close attention to package appearance because film position, sealing, and pack shape directly affected the presentation of the retail product.
Equipment and Trial Production
The DB-HK-220P full-servo dual-channel pocket tissue production line was configured around the customer’s tissue size, sheet count, parent-roll condition, and printed packaging film.
During trial production, the team checked paper feeding, web alignment, folded tissue dimensions, pack thickness, printed-film tracking, sealing position, and the spacing of finished packs on the discharge conveyor. The collection point was also reviewed so operators could place completed packs into cartons without repeatedly reorganizing the product.
Settings for the customer’s regular tissue and packaging film were recorded after the finished packs met the agreed appearance and sealing requirements.

Result
The new line gave the customer a connected process from tissue feeding to completed retail packs. Finished pocket tissues left the packing section in a more orderly sequence, and the printed design remained more consistently positioned across regular production runs.
The organized discharge arrangement also made final inspection and carton collection easier, helping the factory establish a clearer workflow for locally produced branded pocket tissues.
For a similar project, provide the unfolded and folded tissue sizes, ply, sheets per pack, parent-roll width, finished-pack dimensions, printed-film sample, target output, voltage, and available factory layout before confirming the production-line configuration.
